John Shewbrooks Racing has a now expanded to 410 Winged Sprint car racing. A winged sprint car weighs about 1300 pounds and is powered by an 800 horse power motor. The cars runs on dirt tracks throughout the United States.

Here is the business end of the operation. My car is pictured above. It is a 2005 Maxim with approximately 30 races on chassis and 4 races on motor since rebuild. The motor is a Kriner 410 cubic inch race engine, Rodex lightweight block, Brodex 12 degree heads, Kinsler 2 5/8 injection. Driveline 40 inch, 87 inch wheelbase. Sprint Car Crew The car can go no where without a crew. It takes at least two people each night for the car to compete. Crew members include Roger Ramsey, Waverly, Ohio, Wayne & Lynn Wilber, Piketon, Ohio, Bill Grieves, Plymouth, Mass, Deana Burton, Chillicothe, Ohio (pictured below modeling a John Shewbrooks Racing t shirt).
